There is also a connection between the thyroid and the throat chakra, where blockages can manifest due to an inability to express oneself truthfully. Stress, a major factor, affects all three doshas, with vata imbalance playing a significant role. Stress depletes ojas (immunity) and leads to auto-immune conditions.

 

Treating Hypothyroidism:

Ayurvedic treatment is personalized and focuses on addressing the root cause of the illness. It aims to restore balance to all three doshas, with a specific focus on reducing kapha imbalance.
